The Mama Bear project encourages postpartum women to breastfeed while helping them to adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Participants have access to the WATT online and mobile tools that connect them to community health workers for support, self-management health tools for tracking their health as well as their babies’, and personalized action plans and resources focused on breastfeeding and weight loss.
